Paint protection films can be permanently stained by long term exposure to pollutants, petrol, diesel, tar and insect acids. The film should be cleaned and sealed regularly, particularly after long trips at high speeds. VPS paint protection maintenance products are specifically formulated for paint protection film and are available from all VPS paint protection fitment centres.

If discolouration becomes apparent, clean the film as soon as possible with VPS paint protection cleaner, then immediately apply VPS paint protection sealant. Never clean or polish the film with any products containing paraffin-based petroleum distillates or carnauba wax as this will turn the film yellow and void the warranty.

This wash can be used on the entire vehicle and is designed to be paint protection film friendly. It contains a lubricating polymer which prevents scratches on the film and paintwork of the vehicle during washing and can be used as a "low water usage" car wash solution when mixed and used as directed.

Do not wash vehicle for 3 days after fitting.  Thereafter the film must be washed regularly using VPS paint protection car wash. Do not wash using a high-pressure hose, as this will damage the film.

An acrylic polymer product that is specifically formulated to protect any aliphatic polyurethane paint protection film. The sealant attaches to the surface of the film to form a sealed coating when exposed to UV light. Environmental pollutants settle on the surface of this coating rather than penetrating the pores of the film, making them easier to remove and preventing permanent damage to the film.

Apply VPS paint protection sealant with a soft microfibre cloth within 1 week of fitting, and every 3 months thereafter to minimise atmospheric contaminants from penetrating the surface of the film.  Wax or dirt build-up at the edge of the film may be removed using a soft toothbrush and soapy water.

Designed to remove most common environmental deposits such as tar, diesel, petroleum, oil, hard water stains, bug acids and other surface contaminants.

It should be used to clean the surface of the film as soon as possible after the stains are noticed as some contaminants and stains cannot be removed once they have penetrated the film. After use of the cleaner the film must be sealed using a sealant to limit pollutants from discolouring the film.
